David has spent many years in the hospitality industry, more than 15 years travelling the world for work and has run a successful hotel barge on the River Thames, UK. All of his business experience has honed his customer service skills and refined his ideas of luxury travel, so that he is now delighted to be able to offer his own discerning levels of service and his innate sense of style to the guests of Hotel Barge Elisabeth.
Matthew, an internationally renowned musician and passionate foodie, brings his perfectionism and attention to detail to the cuisine of Elisabeth. His dedication to flavour and locally sourced ingredients, coupled with his artistic flair, ensures a “standing ovation” after every meal.
Others in your personal crew will be a private tour guide, a host/hostess and a deck hand on board.
And of course, there’s Lily. Lily is the friendliest member of the crew. She loves to sit at the bow watching the crew handle the ropes; making sure everything is ship shape; she does not have access to the internal guest areas and is happy to have her own vacation if guests prefer a dog free environment.
